...mission complete

for the blog followers i am still alive and well!
{in case you were wondering}
i'm back to normal blogging...
so check it-
because of course i blog for you!

for the facebookers...
ahhh.... the mission.

so all of you know me...quite well
{most of you}

i can't sit still...project starter, doer, finisher...
and watch out when i am on a mission.
there is no stopping me until it is all done.

my mission you ask?
i just needed to clean out the clutter...stuff you always want to do but don't...the stuff that makes you mad because you never have time to get to it... the stuff that always just stays on the "to do" list- never gets done. well- i was over it. it needed to get done. it got done. most of you know my house is perfection all {most} of the time- cause i'm crazy like that- but this was not just a "putting stuff away neatly" mission- this was a "pull it all out, re-organize and get rid of it" mission.
by the way... no children or husbands got hurt in the process...

HERE WE GO...THE MISSION...

the rampage..i mean mission started with my closet...
then hers...
every drawer. every container. every secrect hiding spot the girl can find...
we cleaned it out...
oh- let me tell you what we found...

50 million barbie brushes. papers. hair ties. make up. candy wrappers.
trash. barbie shoes. stickers. candy wrappers. rings...
{she gets that from me, can't really fault her there}
more brushes, books, all the party favors...
a lot of treasures!

you should have seen the clothes we passed down and donated....
ridiculous...really.
but now we are down to bare minimum- which is quite nice....
no more crazy Lexie creations....
well- at least she is limited to the stuff that fits anyway! ha
{so we'll take the creations that fit!}

school clothes on this side. play clothes on this side.
shoes in the shoe thingy.

any of you with little princesses...know exactly what i mean...
beware: this doesn't stop the wardrobe change 3x's a day...

...cleaned out every closet. every bin.
including the manasury of hair stuff this girl has....
clips with clips and headbands with headbands etc...
yes- even the toilet paper and tissue.

even both boys got the v. gibbs makeover...
notice all the empty hanger...
ahhh. that is a great feeling!
{call me crazy}

so this is where i say
"you never wear any of this"
"it all has tags"
{see the post below if you are confused...}

ahhh...
of course the playroom...
let's just say santa came early to a bunch of charitable organizations!
oh- not too worry!
these kids have plenty of toys, books, markers, pencils, coloring books,
remote control cars, barbies, cars, tractors...etc
you name it. we got it- that is if we didn't put it in the
'this has got to go' bag!

SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS!
{here are the bucket thingy's Kathy}
love them!
re-painted the boards to match the buckets...love them to.
oh and that bulletin board is filling up fast!!
i love displaying their art!
too cute!

my favorite thing ever!
the paper roller!!!!
the kids love it just as much as me...
i think.
at least they use this!
they love to color.
i love their artwork.

they helped {a little}
we went through all the buckets and re-organized...
man! the treasures we found in those babies!

books. books. books.
how fortunate are we to have all these wonderful books!

happy kids. happy playroom. happy mama.

even my little spot got
v. gibbs'd up!

and this was a great feeling!
cleaned out the filing cabinet!
gone. gone. gone. gone.
nice.

oh yes we did!!!!
THE GARAGE!!
can i just say i heart craigs list!
we sold so much stuff!
all with in 30 mins after posting...
CRAZY!

this is a staple at the bench in the garage...
poolside baby...

you know i love my flowers...
re-planted some.
cleaned. swept. cleaned. swept.
even pulled weeds.
planted. re-planted. planted more flowers.
{or i should say replaced the ones that couldn't take the heat}

welcome to this mission accomplished home.
{patio}

start the list...
but you have to cross off the list as well...

what's your mission?
